Meet Our Founder

The Lezah R & D Group of Companies was founded in April 2013, by Dr. Raphael D. Hazel, Ph.D., after decades of teaching and research in clinical, preclinical and basic science in the areas of Brain, Cancer and Cardiovascular Imaging. Dr. Hazel completed his doctoral training in Physiology and Biophysics with specialization in NMR spectroscopy at the Stony Brook University, School of Medicine, and later completed postdoctoral research fellowships in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) in the Radiology and Neurosurgery departments at Stony Brook University Hospital, the Medical Department at Brookhaven National Laboratory, and the Cardiac Research and Education Unit at St. Francis Hospital, Roslyn, NY. Dr. Hazel has expertise in X-Ray Microscopy, Nuclear Structure and High Energy Physics, DNA Structure, Liver Cancer, Cardiovascular MRI, Brain MRI, CT, Ultrasound and X-Ray Radiography.

Company Biography

The Lezah R & D Group is a holding company for several categories of startup companies that were eatablished by Dr. Hazel to address many of the challenges facing the world in the 21st century. The multituded of problems to be solved and the limited time in which to solve them necessitates a parallel approcach with several simultaneously advancing fronts.

The LR&DG was previously called The Blueberry Group but this name was already in use hence the company was renamed in September 2020.
