Meet Our Founder
The Lezah R & D Group of Companies was founded in April 2013 by Dr. Raphael D. Hazel, Ph.D., after decades of teaching and research in clinical, preclinical and basic science in the areas of Brain, Cancer and Cardiovascular Imaging. Dr. Hazel completed his doctoral training in Physiology and Biophysics with a specialization in NMR spectroscopy at Stony Brook University, School of Medicine, and later completed postdoctoral research fellowships in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) in the Radiology and Neurosurgery departments at Stony Brook University Hospital, the Medical Department at Brookhaven National Laboratory, and the Cardiac Research and Education Unit at St. Francis Hospital, Roslyn, NY.

The Lezah R & D Group is a holding company for several categories of startup companies established by Dr. Hazel to address many of the challenges facing the world in the 21st century. Olivia's Corner is its confectionery brand — bringing fine chocolates and gourmet sweets to customers worldwide.
